Scooter Suitcase Review โ Parent & Kid Approved (Mostly ๐)
We purchased scooter suitcases for the girls, and overall theyโve been a fun and practical addition to our travel routine.
Kid Review: Two Thumbs Up ๐๐
The biggest win? They donโt have to walk and they get to zoom through the airport. It makes them feel independent and adds a little fun to what can otherwise be long, boring travel days. They genuinely look forward to riding them.
Dadโs Review: One Thumb Up ๐
Dad loves that the girls enjoy riding them and that it keeps them moving without complaints. The suitcase holds a decent amount of clothes and essentials, which is helpful for short trips. However, folding it up and putting the handle down isnโt the easiest process. The durability has been solid so far, but turns can be tricky. When kids are zig-zagging through security lines or crowded terminals, steering can get frustrating.
Momโs Review: Big Win ๐
From a mom perspective, anything that keeps kids entertained while navigating a busy airport is a win. Airports can already be stressful, and this takes away some of that pressure. It was also a great transition out of strollers. We knew they couldnโt walk long distances without getting tired, and letโs be honest โ carrying two growing kids through the airport just isnโt realistic.
Price Point
They are a little pricey. However, if you travel often, they can absolutely be worth it. We travel about 6โ8 times per year, so for our family, the investment made sense.
Final Thoughts
If youโre an occasional traveler, you may want to weigh the cost. But for families who fly multiple times a year and want a smoother airport experience, scooter suitcases can make travel more fun for kids and a little less exhausting for parents.
