When people find out we have twins, one of the first things we get is the look — you know, the mix of amazement and pity — followed by, “How did you survive those first few months?” The truth is, it wasn’t easy. Whether you have one baby or two, the newborn stage is exhausting. But for us, one of the biggest lifesavers was Moms on Call.

We relied heavily on their books, and honestly, we followed them to a tee. Within a month, both of our twins were sleeping through the night. Was it tough? Absolutely. Sleep training is not for the faint of heart — it requires letting your baby “cry it out,” which can be so hard as a parent. Having a partner who will keep you accountable and stop you from caving is key.

But Moms on Call is about so much more than sleep training. The books became our baby bible. I loved how concise and practical they were. No fluff, no endless chapters — just clear, actionable steps for everything from feeding schedules to what to do if your baby spits up. When you’re running on two hours of sleep, you don’t want six pages of background information — you just want someone to tell you what to do.

We used all four books, and I can honestly say they gave us the structure and confidence we needed during one of the most overwhelming seasons of our lives. If you’re a new parent (or a parent of multiples!) and feeling completely lost, I can’t recommend Moms on Call enough.
